Newportonians are donating their unwanted coats at drop off points across the city to help the homeless, refugees, elderly and families in need this winter.
The annual campaign Wrap Up Newport launched this morning, with customers handing in over 130 coats so far at Tesco Extra Spytty, Feed Newport Pillgwenlly, Morrisons Rogerstone.
The warm a heart donate a coat campaign was launched by the mayor of Newport. Councillor Tom Suller and John Griffiths MS and Community Champion Danielle Powell.
