WINTER 2024 FUNDRAISER
It is heartbreaking to see that more families are experiencing increased pressure and turning to foodbanks for assistance this winter.  Feed Newport Foodbank has been doing incredible work in feeding over 3,000 people since 2023.
However, the demand for our services keeps growing. Gem Walker, the manager of Feed Newport, emphasizes that we cannot ignore the pressing problems we face.  No one should go hungry, and it is crucial that we come together to support those in need.
The foodbank relies on cash donations to fund it's services at the Hub, and your contributions can make a real difference.
The rising numbers at Feed Newport Foodbank indicate that this winter will be one of the busiest they have faced. It is disheartening to learn that approximately 20% of the foodbank's meals this year were provided to children.
These figures represent real people in our community who are experiencing genuine hardship.
