Christmas BreakFood Box

We are launching our ‘ Christmas Break Food Box’ initiative , for those who need a bit more support as we come out of these difficult times. Feed Newport has decided to offer extra support to low income families across Newport.

It’s available to Families and Individuals whose children are entitled to free school meals low income or simply struggling.

The aim of this project is to support families and their children , Tackling food poverty in our community.

We will provide one food box, per household which should cover basic essentials .

Families can collect their food boxes.

Basic food boxes will be available every thursday from December 19 untill the 3rd Jan 2020 and will be available from:

Feed Newport CIC Head Office,

192 Commercial Road Newport NP20 2PP.

To receive a food box the family must be:

*Receipt of benefits.

*The children in the family will need to be in receipt of free school meals during term time.

We are also able to help if you don't fit the criteria above. If you are need of some extra support please contact us.

If you would like to receive a food box or are aware of any families in need please contact the Feed Newport team on or 01633 549796

Referrals will be accepted from schools

Monday to Friday 12pm to 1.30pm Free grab bag (children lunch)

We are also offering support to families/individuals with children who are struggling during half term who dont receive fsm or benefits.

Please note:

The Welsh Government has guaranteed free school meal provision for all school holidays up to and including Easter 2021
