Easter Egg Appeal 2021

An appeal has been launched for people to donate Easter eggs for children and adults in need.


Director Tariq Khan and members of Feed Newport CIC, hope to distribute chocolate eggs to people who access their services at the Feed Newport Hub.


They hope to collect as many eggs as possible so no one misses out during easter.


Manager Gemma Walker, said: "We have 20 families on a list for easter half term food boxes and 300 people across the city using our food bank services for various reasons.




"We provide food parcels all over Newport , We started with 4 volunteers and now have 13 amazing team of helpers.


"We deliver food parcels to people with donated toiletries, food and treats for children and even formula, nappies, wipes and pet food from the food bank based at Commercial Road Pillgwenlly.


"Our services are open 7 day's a week 10am to 2pm.


"We are hoping people will donate Easter eggs to us within a few days of easter so we can re distribute them."
